Mk7 dragy times, 60-130, 1/8, 1/4,

If it’s making power, AWD will twist an axle quicker than a FWD that has wheelspin

So as you all remember me setting the OEM IS38 GTI 60-130 record, I recently put on a Vortex XL. Just did 2nd pass on this setup 60-130. Mods are as follows:

MK7 GTI DSG6

-E85 tuned by 5150 Racing
-Stock block
-Vortex XL hybrid
-CTS MPI/450 LPFP
-Stock sensors
-NO PM4
-Full weight
-235/45r17 R888R tires

Says full weight plus stock sensors so nothing higher than 29 psi and no PM4.

Am I the only one that feels something is off with this?

Easy way to prove it, just pull up Dragy and shoot video overlay looking at car's speedo for another 60-130.

Would be nice to know the mods done to that GTR. Seems like it doesn't have much done to it since he was getting crushed by other GTRs and that one 4 door BMW at the end. Clean race with the GTI.

Dragy 8.3 in July. May have more mods since then. None listed.

Stock gtrs run between 8.7 and 8.9 60 to 130 so who knows. I do think that dragy time is inaccurate because that's on point with other full weight maxed out turbos. Cars don't just come with magic special sauce lol
