Purchase new tires that were on sale in preparation for a new set of wheels I currently do not have and won’t have for a few months.
My thoughts were, if I purchase the tires, I HAVE to purchase the new wheels. The wife gets a new bathroom, I get more goodies for the GTI.

And yes, I still run all seasons instead of summer tires and I'm only slightly ashamed.

I caved and did a large purchase.

Ordered from FCP rein metal oil pan, timing chain kit, VW serpentine belt, VW valve cover gasket sealant, OE tie rod kit & endlinks for the front, oil change kit, and spark plugs.

Also ordered the BFI stage 1 engine/trans mount. Excited for that mod as my engine mounts are most likely TOAST.

Just hit 100k last weekend. I'm stage 2. I feel like mine are complete shit at this milegae if your were shot at 60k.
Guess I won't find out til I replace them.

Discovered a leaky rear passenger tire =(. Gonna let it go. Luckily my air hose reel is hanging directly next to my rear passenger tire from the garage ceiling so its easy enough to top it off

Does that happen to others....? I'm gonna blame this long weekend I've been playing too much assetto corsa and that shifter is completely different, I tend to lean on it a lot, big no no on a VW.

Your shifter probably needs to be re-aligned -

I bought a gear knob and still haven't replaced the busted front bumper or figured our why the spring is rubbing the right strut housing.

I did re-align when i installed the euro shifter... its just me pushing down I think, I would do it in my MK5 as well
