This thread is dedicated to retrofitting the new MK7.5/Facelift OEM LED Tails to a NA Golf. There are multiple forum members who already have completed this retrofit and I am compiling all of the information from this thread into this post and will try to keep this updated as we learn more.

You will need:
1. Set of tail lights
2. Harness/adapter (Make sure you get a MK7 or MK7.5 specific harness as the connectors changed between MK7 and MK7.5 models. If you had the original OEM Euro LED Tails, you need a new harness regardless.
3. Coding

PART NUMBERS (**Parts ending in P refer to LHD and Q means RHD, so P on a left inner will have fog and Q on a right inner will have a fog. This also applies to H vs G for the base tails.)

There are two versions of the LED facelift tails. Thanks to KroniK25 for finding this video that shows both sets of lights in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBzyqMCNQH8

LED w/o dynamic turn signals (found on Golf/base models)
Left outer - 5G0945095Q
Right outer - 5G0945096Q
Left inner - 5G0945093AG w/rear fog (5G0945093AH w/o rear fog)**
Right inner - 5G0945094AH w/rear fog (5G0945094AG w/o rear fog)**

LED w/ dynamic turn signals (GTI/R)
OEM Full Kit from VW - 5G1052200C (Cheapest to source from e-acca instead of ordering individual parts. Will still need a harness in the US. Includes all 4 lights with a LHD rear fog.)
Left outer - 5G0945207G
Right outer - 5G0945208G
Left inner - 5G0945307P w/rear fog (5G0945307Q w/o rear fog)**
Right inner - 5G0945308Q w/rear fog (5G0945308P w/o rear fog)**

HARNESS (Coding/install instructions are provided by all 4 upon purchase.)
JBale: forum member, please PM him for pricing. He offers three types of harnesses: non-fog, single fog and double fog. He developed harnesses for the MK7 OEM LED Tails, so he has experience here. Many of us have his harness and only have positive feedback.
Audiamant: German shop that provides a harness for EUR/NA cars, LHD vs RHD, and you can order lights from them as well although very expensive. Multiple users have this harness as well and have intermittent issues (running lights flickering while braking) but it does work. I recommend throwing this link in Chrome so it auto-translates German to English for you: https://audiamant.de/index.php/shop-deutsch/vw/golf/golf-7-ab-juni-2017/golf-7-ab-2017-facelift-rueckleuchten-umruestmodule-html
DAP: Their harness can be purchased with the tails in their kit or separately.
USP: Same as DAP, this can be purchased as a combo with the tails or by itself.

WHERE TO BUY
cars245.com
e-acca.com (5% off code valid until 11/30/17: "The Great Canadian VW show", see post #1576 here)
shopdap.com (includes harness for complete kit)
uspmotorsports.com (includes harness for complete kit)

INSTALL

Install is the same as the MK7 Euro tails, here is DAP's facelift install video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEnTD6n79Lg
Here is an install video from forum member Deviation01:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liPem-GEajA&feature=youtu.be
Very detailed video from rotaryguy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOfJcmG1NTs&feature=youtu.be

Big thanks to all who have contributed to this thread so far and go order these ASAP! If you think I missed anything please comment and I will add it.

Not interested in the tails but I am interested in the headlights.

I can get part number for everything you need on Monday if you want. I work at official VW dealership and we have a new model.
As far as the headlights go, you will need new fenders and bumper to get them fit. The hood stays the same for all models. New fender is also more aggressive, but you can't really tell if you don't have a side to side to compare.

Will likely need the new bumper, fenders, and possibly a hood to get them to fit right.

Maybe.

To me though the shape looks the same and with VWs issues I doubt such a large sheet metal change would be made for the refresh.

I guess we will have to see.

I'm only interested in the tails.

Maybe someone can make a separate thread for the 7.5 headlights, and other parts?

I guess I'll share the part numbers and research for facelift tail lights. ;) I was going to try and order these a while back, but decided that I like my current non-FL LEDs with my current setup.

LED without dynamic turn signals (base models) -

Left outer - 5G0945095Q
Right outer - 5G0945096Q
Left inner - 5G0945093AH
Right inner - 5G0945094AG

*there are current "used" base model versions available right now if you google*

LED with dynamic turn signals:

Left outer - 5G0945207G
Right outer - 5G0945208G
Left inner - 5G0945307P (no rear fog 5G0945307Q)
Right inner - 5G0945308P

From what I've read, in order for the dynamic turn signals to work, you must have a '17 model, since they come with most of the new facelift modules. More specifically the BCM, which you can get the new version separately. Also, if you search the German forums, someone has tested the LED dynamic turn signal versions which did work and had the same connectors.

This is exactly what I am looking for, thanks! I have a '17 so I should be good with the dynamic signals.. Just deciding if I want them & fogs or not.

So both versions are amber turn signals? Also do you mind posting a link to the German forum, not having any luck finding it.
