1. Since you have run the yellow wire through the car already, just unplug the white wire in BCM C6 and plug the yellow wire into it. W/o the yellow wire you could leave the white wire in, push both grey/black wires on the inner tails into Pin1. Then somehow connect Pin1 outer tails to the inner tails. Same effect.
2. Just extend the white/yellow wire from your driver side to the left side and plug it into Pin7 of inner-left. Then you’ll have a working rear fog light. You could use the unused grey/black wire but then it has go into a different BCM connector Pin since you use C6 for Common 12V already.
Reporting back on my progress as promised.
Again let me start with a massive shout out to @ZERO815 for his help and knowledge. When I took upon this project I was very unprepared however with a lot of reading and some guidance from @ZERO815 I was successfully able to pin and code everything. I can now say that the mk7.5 taillights are on my mk7 and working 99% as should as I still have to do FOG light cable to do ;)
Thanks @ZERO815 I owe you one
Update: 30/06/2024
All done now, I have separated white/yellow cables from the other cables on the inner-right and brought it across to the inner-left tail, pin it into Pin7 and voila I have now working FOG light in the inner-left as per @ZERO815 instructions. Onto the next things, adding puddle and rear inner foot lights :)

Hey guys, I just installed brand new dynamic led euro tail light and finished coding. I've used the DAP harness mk7.5 to mk7.5 and the tail light seems to work properly but I have an error code. I don't know if it happen to someone already? By the way I don't have a euro light switch so I didn't code the long coding for the rear fog.

Honestly it would be easier to have the whole adpmap of module09.

However, found a pdf in my data from 2020 w/ slight modifications to the DAP coding. Please cross check line by line. It might help you already.

There are 3 things that pop up to me looking through the data you provided:
1. Leuchte27NSL RC6-Dimmwert AB 27: Stored value 30 -> to my understanding DAP uses it as the parking lights. 127 would be a better value since the parking lights aren't dimmable
2. Leuchte23SL HLC10-Lasttyp 23. --> I would use 38 - LED Blinkleuchten here
3. Leuchte24SL HRA65-Lasttyp 24. --> I would use 38 - LED Blinkleuchten here

damn I want these tails so bad but the fact that this thread is 240+ pages long has me spooked lol also I kind of like the stock tails but the sweep would match my headlights and turn signals

start reading from 200 page up and you should figure it out. No pain no gain as they say.

Basically,

search for the OEM Full Kit from VW - 5G1052200C and I suggest you buy it from europe, (I think amazon.de is a good option, very fast and prepaid duty with amazon, btw also very good for Osram dynamic indicator)

then you'll need an harness, based on your golf generation: MK7.5 Euro tail light to MK7.5 NA Golf or MK7.5 Euro tail light to MK7 NA Golf.

And finally, during the installation you'll need to do the coding with VCDS or OBD11. Personally I went for shopDAP harness and it works better with zero815 coding shared above! ✌️

I noticed the other day that the two lights on the right hand side of my car both have developed issues. The right inner running light (the always on red one) has stopped working, as has the right outer turn signal light. I have mk7.5 R with euro tails and a zero815 harness.

What tests can I run with a multi meter to check the wiring is not fubarred. And what tests can I run to check if the lights themselves have gone bad? I assume I just got unlucky with a set of used euro tail lights for them to fail so quick (if it is indeed the lights). The left hand side of the car still works perfectly.

- Please check if the little black connector between inner and outer tail light is still properly connected. Should be in the rear head liner area where the grommets meet the body.
- With a multimeter you can check continuity between:
>Outer-Right Pin2 and Inner-Right Pin4
>Outer-Right Pin8 and Inner-Right Pin8

As soon as I read this I knew exactly what happened. I had some work done on that boot as I broke a clip when installing the harness and it was leaking. The tech who put the car back together put the black connector mostly all the way in, but not quite. A quick reseat of the little black connector in the headliner and all is well.
2 minute fix. You continue to earn your legend status around here. Thanks zero815!

@ZERO815

I have a Golf 7 R before facelift (2014) with darkened LED taillights. Yesterday I installed the cable set and the original facelift taillights with running indicator function. I need the VCDS coding instructions. Do you have them? Thank you very much 😊
