MK7.5 Halogen to LED

I was told yesterday during one of many phone calls trying to find lights that Osram had only made the LHD ones to date, no word of when to expect the RHD ones unfortunately.

Hi, do you have any update on the lights availability please? I am looking to upgrade my mk7.5 r line but like you am going round in circles!

Hi, I see it says the dipped beam is a H7 bulb so not full LED's.
These are one of the ads that I seen on ebay but they are not the "chrome" version but I think they are full LED.

I haven't a clue tbh, I'm still trying to find out if (a) they are legal and (b) if they'd pass an MOT!

Hi, I am not sure about the ones in the link you sent but the ones I put the link up for definitely would.
But if you decide to go for them please double check they will fit and are complete before purchasing.

They're not road legal. They may pass an MOT, tester dependent.

The seller is known for telling porkies when it comes to legality as he doesn't agree with the current legislation in force in the UK.

They're not type approved. The only type approved retrofit housings are those sold by Osram.
