My (old, before Mk8 wheel) steering wheel control module was PN 5G0 959 442 R (yours is N) and the coding was 34000 (yours is 28FFFF).
- Besides the different shape, Golf vs GTI, I had cancel where you have the mode for cruise control
@Nuje has PN 5G0 959 442 K though, and his coding is 2FFFFF
- As compared to yours his buttons only differ in shape, Golf vs GTI
- Your coding of 28FFFF might get his arrows to zoom... @Nuje hurry up and try this out!
Oddly enough VCDS says "This Control Module does NOT support Coding. The displayed Coding reflects the currently installed Hardware and cannot be changed!" I'm not sure the reason for that, but I read on a Drive2 post about MFSW retrofits that this coding can be changed in OBDEleven or ODIS but not VCDS.
I'll have to find some Mk8 scans to see what might work for my new wheel/buttons. I don't even know what the coding is on them right now, need to take a new scan/ad-map.
