Missing incident reporting in Google Maps / How to change DPI?

Hi all, I have VW Golf 2016 GTD and use Google Pixel 5, hence wired connection. I enjoy using AA in this setup. I use both Google Maps and Waze for navigation but I prefer Google Maps. Recently new incident reporting was introduced, when using just my phone not connected to my car I can see the incident reporting button but when connected to my car, I don't.

The problem is described here:
https://www.androidauthority.com/android-auto-google-maps-missing-incident-reporting-3487314/
Including the screenshots, I see exactly what is on the left screenshot, while I would love to see what's on the right.

I do not need/plan to use AAWireless or any other device. Is there any AA tweak I could do to change DPI so I get to see the reporting button? Without rooting my phone.
There is "Video resolution" option in AA (Developer settings) but it only has "Allow" options, not changing anything.
I also have Green Engineering menu enabled and MIB2 STD Toolbox installed, so maybe changing some config file for AA in the head unit would do the trick?

App versions:
Android Auto: 13.2.644464
Google Maps: 24.48.05.700553417

Thanks!
