Mismatched stock wheels??

Hey guys, been a long time lurker since my MKIV days, just recently purchased a 2015 GTI SE 6MT with Lighting. Love the car so far, roughly 700 miles. I just noticed today, but I just realized that the stock Austin wheels are aligned differently on each side. I have attached pics. Is this normal?? Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated, because as of now, seems like a major PDI fail. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414285410.471396.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1414285420.792999.jpg

I wish some of you guys would think a little more......
Don't you think they are the correct way? They are turning in different directions as they are on oposite sides of the car, that is why they say rotate the wheels front to rear not side to side.
Perhaps you could change them to a rim with a symetrical pattern.

It was just a question dude, no need to get all snippy. Just seemed strange that the blades would face opposite directions.

i need to check mine

yeah i agree with avanti, itll still be the same when they get rotated. I'm OCD myself but while i think about it, its not much of an issue to me

I wasn't sniping at you, and welcome to the forum by the way (overall it is a friendly place).

The rims are the correct way as mentioned earlier

The two pics above show the same style rim, but it's only when you look at the position of the brake caliper that it becomes apparent that they are on opoosite sides of the car.
The right hand side the wheels will be rotating clockwise and the left handside counterclockwise, I guess VW or someone could make rims in that pattern that are or appear to have the same pattern on either side of the car, however that would increase expense.

Diplomacy?

Heh heh , I was being diplomatic, and did conclude with a suggestion of a symmetrical patterned wheel set.
I guess as there was the accusation that the PDI was incorrect for the wheel, laid the blame on the dealership, but that wasn't what was asked.
