Milltek downpipe

It appears that Milltek uses the same part number downpipe for their MK7 GTI AND R turbo back exhaust kits. Looking at pictures they appear different but I guess this means there is a glimmer of hope that the already developed GTI downpipes will be ready for the U.S. market when the R arrives.

Are Miltek the best or at least considered 1 of the top performing exhausts?

Part number for gti downpipe is SSXVW261
I wouldn't say that miltek are the best, but they are certainly one of the good brands

Correct! The parts listed are for the downpipe AND the vehicle specific pipe to go to the rest of the system.

The downpipe is identical on both systems.

I would like to use the 42DD GTI down pipe. I really like the design they put into it.

Pictured is the R vs GTI downpipes. They differ quite a bit from the hangers back since the R one has to avoid the drive shaft. These are RHD development units that are close to production with the first test LHD unit going out next week.
