dare I asked how many kidneys you sold for that?

= to 1 2018 GTI. It was almost and even trade when I sold the GTI. Shipping and documentation processing was expensive. $6k. The car was €11,000. The exchange rate went way up from the time we agreed on the price so that kinda sucked but I REALLY wanted this car. I’ve seen them go for around $16,500 with a ton of stock parts missing and as high as $38k for a lower mileage clean example. There are a few for sale on the FB group I’m on for €11,000 right now and they look no where near as nice as this one. Next I want to import a 16v GTI. And then a TCR or Clubsport S when that time comes around. And then a …. Haha I have a problem.

I don’t regret selling the DIB GTI but I am missing it for sure. Been searching for another MQB. I remembered the White Silver Metallic color that was also new for 2018. That is my infatuation this week. Last week it was a 2018 lapiz blue R. Anyway. When finances are available, I see myself back in the platform.

Been working on a few MQBs recently. A Tiguan and an alltrack. Just maintenance but it’s still fun being around the platform.

I had the car dry ice cleaned and coated with protectant. Came out awesome.

Did anyone make it down to Helen, GA for Alpine Volks Fair last week? We took the VW Golf Coubtry and had a blast.
A few MQBs turned my head. There was a beautiful Alltrack and a GTD tribute on the show field Saturday.

The wife and I did. I was explaining to her what it was and why it was so cool. It was our first time there and it did not disappoint.

I loved that Alltrack and the GTD was pretty cool.
