MIB2 Lagging, hangs and works very slow

Recently did a MIB2 retrofit (no touchscreen, only the module) on my 2013 MK7 because my MIB1 was acting slow, hanging and lagging, rendering my touch screen useless at times. Even park pilot sometimes not booting.

The problem started suddenly a few weeks back.

Me thinking upgrading to MIB2 would fix the problem...

Problem still persists, even with MIB2.

What could be the issue? My touch screen?

Remove SD/USB, turn off bluetooth, reboot, check if that helps.

Each time your MIB starts, it will scan media sources (indexing artists and song, scraping album covers) and will pull full contact list from BT connected phones. If you have 128GB of music and 1000+ contacts with photos attached to it, it could cause issues.
