Hi I am swapping my delphi mib 2 with siriusXM no NAV, to a technisat mib2 +nav, I have done the in initial coding to see if there are any blatantly obvious errors, component protection, and no missing rear plug ins. Where do I plug in the GPS antenna? I have gotten the sharkfin with siriusxm and GPS 5Q0-035-507-L-5Fq which have seperate rg714 connections but there is no where to plug it into? Do I just need a 2 into 1 cable?

It seems (to me) that early Mk7's tend to have the top level shark fin regardless of how the car was otherwise equipped. My 2015 Golf S had it.

I would suspect it was a planned cost cutting measure to eventually only install antennas required for how the car is equipped.

Ueah I was surprised to see a golf s with a highline sharkfin installed.
