An update. I got the brake control module coded from my locat euro guy. He got the code from vw and everything works.

so, you bought a brand new abs module and had recoded? starting engine vibration shows up in vagcom or obdeleven? how much did the project cost you start to finish?

No new module. Just recoded the old one. $100. I'm not changing anything with the accesport installed because I believe the Cobb t/c system changes things. With esp off it feels like a car

you mind if i pm you? i have some questions and i don't want to sound redundant or uneducated on the subject. my mind is kinda blown... i didn't think this was possible and i know 2 ppl who have bought used abs modules and have had no luck getting them recoded to make SVR to work properly.

Besides tires, your second issue is thinking you can launch a fwd car like it's awd. At stg 1, soft launch at 3000 rpms, on 245 RE71R's in the dry, I don't get intervention at WOT. Why do you want to do unobstructed smoky burnouts in your GTI? It just makes no sense.

This is not correct. It has nothing to do with smoky burnouts... if you have power on a FWD car, you need a bit of wheel spin. If not, TC kicks you and it´s impossible to transfer power to the ground. After all, we all are here because we noticed the same...

Guys, I do not try this yet, but I think the solution might be to replace the ABS unit to an older one, possible one coming from a MK7. The part number is the same between 7 and 7.5, but what it really changes is the SW#. I talked with a VW dealer and they told me that it´s difficult and dangerous to downgrade the SW# of a module. In our case, we should need an MK7 unit that will have the previous SW version loaded. It would be useful one from a mK7´s or also 7.5´s before the damn production date. I would prefer to try with a secondary abs unit instead of messing with mine´s...

I get a perfect amount of wheel spin with stg 1 tune and a 3000 rpm soft launch and the TC doesn't kick in when dry. I'd certainly prefer to turn off SVR, but turning off RRO increases the amount of wheel spin you can get away with before TC intervenes.

I can imagine. It would be nice to figure out a way to completely defeat it, but for now, RRO has been an improvement.
