Has anyone on here actually done this conversion?

I also assume that the 2 litre & 3 Litre Mecan callipers exactly the same and is there a reasonable pad choice for these callipers
Yes, several of us have. For parts and compatibility, look at post 71.

Making an official thread in the DIY section should help clarify. I've been considering starting one but, you know more and also deserve the credit ?

It's in the mk7 faq on on vw vortex. I'll make a macan specific thread here to.

Am I missing anything? Was looking at the TTS kit but at this price point this kit looks hard to beat. Coming from a non-PP GTI, would I also need dust shields?

I think the general consensus from this whole thread is the macan is better

The heat shields on the standard 312mm are too small for 340mm rotors but the lip can be trimmed down so they can be reused.

The larger shields from the performance package and R/S3 are 5Q0-615-311-F and 5Q0-615-312-F

P.S. Spreadsheet looks good ?

I would use your non pp dust shields and trim them to just shield the abs sensor.

And if you have to buy rotors, get the mk6 R rotors, not PP.

What is the actual size of the macan calipers? In inches or mm?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you want physical measurements of the calipers? I'm not even sure how that would work.

If your asking what size rotors, you can use 340mm or 345mm. The 345mm fit better.

As stated... the calipers. How long/wide/tall are they?
Post 71 has the template to use to check for clearance. Other than that, I'm not quite sure why you'd want that info and I'm not pulling wheels off to measure.

Might be too common sense to need to point out, but make sure to "adjust" the template center bore to your wheels center bore. Its currently showing an Audi OEM centerbore of 66.6mm.
I stupidly didn't think about it at first and had just cut the far right edge off the template to fit inside my wheels.
