Went to SCT Indy, thinking about going again in Bowling Green if anyone is around that area. Look for the black m4 gapping domestics and confusing announcers to death.
Ran like 5-6 10s back to back trying to dial in for the 11.0 index just to be told THEY WERE ALL FULL -_- . Ran a 10.7@130ish in 94*/108 index and nearly 4000 DA. EEWWW! Did well roll racing, best was a 8.8 @ almost 134, besting 2 140+ mph drag cars due to ET and midrange power. Just couldn't keep those iats down we all had to sit in staging lanes for hours and hours in the boiling hot sun. Very bad conditions. For comparison a Golf R that dynoed 397awhp was running 13.2s-13.1s@105-108mph something like that. It was HOT. Even the r35s were running 11s.
Was able to meet Fred from 1320. He came out to the dig spot (was surprised to see the whole crew!) and caught my 2nd dig I think. Kind of un happy about the street digs but hey it is what it is. Again had to sit around waiting and hot lapping and trans was getting grumpy. It went from eating through the brake and jumping to sleeping terribly on the light. Was running down that GTR hard up top but ran out of road. He went 11.2@120 I believe the previous day. Caught him on the way home and I think I ruined his week from a roll xD Had some nasty rolling antilag though!
For comparison the camera car in the rolls was trapping 127-128 in the roll class. I keep trying to tell people my car is NOT a drag car like at all. It's meant for rolls and a real race track. It has a monster delay and the LC is one of the worst I've ever seen. Was able to almost catch a 1.6 60 foot but on the street It's almost useless in a flash light start. Great weekend though! Just e30 off the shelf MHD map still, as Im waiting on Snow kit thats backordered before custom tune is done! 10.55 is the custom e85/methanol tuned record. And 10.2 is the overall which I'm going to try to match in the fall. Not bad for literally 2 mods that are some pipes I guess, but boy I could feel the heat on the big end for sure. Really loved to see all the love and support I got from specs watching an M car trying to drag race. The announcer was cracking me up, after running 10s for a few passes he's like "Okay what in the heck is in this M Trouble Yew. Kind of a small motor aint it?" Where I live I'm surrounded by mostly hate and jealously so its refreshing to be supported racing for once!
