Lowering on Springs or Coilover DCC

I am planning on lowering my car come spring time, however, I have DCC option on my GTI. Is it more worthy to drop on coilovers or springs? I understand that there is coilovers with DCC delete but wouldn't want to shell out that much just to delete a feature.
I know that if I go with regular coilovers, i'll have a DCC warning.

Now, can I delete the warning with ODBeleven?
Should I go with Coilovers and eventually do a DCC delete kit?
Or should I get some springs (Eibach Pro kit), will the DCC still have functionality and a decent ride comfort?

Depending on what you want to spend you could get coilovers that feature DCC. If you want to reduce ride height only (while not changing struts/dampers) going with a very mild drop is likely your best option. Good thread about DCC options going on in the Golf R sub-forum right now.
