Loss of power when accelerating hard

hi, i have a mk 7.5 2018 GTI autobahn with 55,000km. i just recently got the unitronic stage 1 ECU upgrade and it was great. but a few days ago, my car started feeling a lot slower. When i accelerate hard, and it gets to high rpm’s it loses power for a split second even tho i didn’t take my foot off the gas(kinda like a hiccup) it happens in first and second gear and does it every single time i accelerate hard. the only other mod i have on it is a short ram intake. any ideas? maybe a boost leak? or a coil wire shortage? maybe it’s the ESC system that’s not fully turned off… i know i need OBD11 to fully deactivate it so maybe that’s the reason?

Can you log with Unitronic?
Edit. If it doesn’t do it on third of fourth gear -never- then yes, it looks like a traction control issue.

i did more reading, i think it’s misfiring. pretty sure it’s my ignition coil or spark plugs.

Start with simple stuff first.

The tach pausing as you accelerate is ASR activating.

What kind of tires do you have?

if it's misfiring why would it only be in 1st and 2nd. sounds like traction control

Mos Def traction control. Code it out, turn it off and see if still persists. Hombre is correct.
