Own a Golf GTD 2016 year,
It started to loose coolant a few months ago - topped up, light would still come back on every 1 to 2 weeks.
Took it to 3 garages who pressure tested it and cannot find a issue. Took it to another 4th garage and following has been replaced,
Cambelt and water pump
Expansion tank and pressure cap
after replacing above when Coolent light still comes on - No leaks anywhere when opening the cap coolant would rise - have also had a dye check for exhaust gasses in header tank and that came back clear. Garage then suggested replacing Secondary water pump. Coolent light still came back on after a couple of days however when opening cap the coolant no longer rises.
Would appreciate advice on this -
