Looking for a VW Programmer Dongle for Helix Soundbox System

Just purchased a 2017 VW Golf a couple weeks ago in San Jose, California. I have my helix soundbox coming in the mail tomorrow, but I read online that it can only be properly programmed with the VW Programmer Dongle. It looks like they are charging $250 just to program it for me, I was hoping to rent it / buy it off someone if anyone has one available.
