I have just ordered my new R in limestone grey. This has been done without actually being able to see one .I thought it looked a little more understated than some of the other colours available, for someone of my age!Having said that whenever I see any pictures, they all look great. Have any of you out there purchased this colour or even had the chance to view one, as I am having a little panic to myself.

Have just ordered a GT Estate in the Limestone Grey. It looks classy in the flesh with an earthen brown tint to the grey, which is really subtle. For me it was between this and the pacific blue, but I think the limestone grey will age better.

I very nearly ordered the Limestone Grey but decided on Lapis Blue as it is the signature colour for the R.

I have seen a few close-up images of LG and it looks nice with very subtle hues of brown and gold.

I have not yet seen either the Lapis blue or LG in the flesh but to be perfectly honest I would be happy with either colour.

My only regret when adding the accessories to the car is not ordering the 19" Pretoria alloys. I decided to stick with the `stock` 18” Cadiz wheels.

Since i have bought one (Limestone grey) I obviously wanted it :). I ordered the R without ever seen one. Apart from it looks good it’s very nice to keep clean. The dirt doesn’t show so much compared to our Pacific blue met. Golf MK 7 Estate.

The Lapiz blue met. is much darker live than I expected. Not at all like the former blue met. R/R32 colours. Nevwr the less, blue is nice to.

Looks great in Limestone Grey! Re. bolded part, maybe I am the odd one then: I am 46 and got my R in Lapiz blue. Just love that blue! :)

Now I'm really sold on the Limestone Gray!

The more I see it... the more I love it!

My fav color is Blue however, since they darkened the blue this year I'm not so fond.

They other thought I had of the LSG is... who would suspect a Golf R in LSG???

Seems that most common is the Blue (kind of like blue WRX STI's!).

I can't wait till the time comes to order mine in Limestone Gray (LSG)!

Please post more pics of your car when you can!!

I'm 55 and have been driving VW's since '77.

I currently drive a United Grey Golf TDI. I was liking the blue but the more I see the Limestone Grey the more I'm thinking I will have yet another grey car if they make that color available in the US.
