Yeah I always wanted bronze wheels and was worried these might be a little to dark for my black GTI, but they are just right. Look good but not too "look at me!".

Got them put on!! Loving them already! The color definitely is a lot better than I thought. Yeah my car is dirty and needs a wash. The only thing I don't like about black is it is only clean for like 5 minutes.
Edit: After driving over the past few days there is a definite difference in how my car responds. It feels lighter and more agile for sure. It is surprising how much better it feels over bumps (this is from my drive to work on bumps I hit every day). Lighter weight wheels are worth every penny in my opinion.

Just in case anyone cares, Ampliform's will fit over a StopTech ST-41 set up with no spacers.

No wheel spacers added. They stick out only like 5mm more than stock, but it does make a difference. They are half and inch wider than stock. 8" vs 7.5".

You're right about black. It stops being clean the moment they stop painting it
.Source... I've owned two, and it still wakes me up at night in a cold sweat ready to spray detail spray and rub the fluffiest of microfiber towels to clean bird poop before it etches.

Dark bronze hides brake dust better than any other color I’ve found.

That and a dark grey work best for most brake dust.

With enough work, not always.
Ceramic coating on my vs5rs was crucial to keep brake dust from sticking. Certain track pads shed dust like my wife sheds hair ties and Bobby pins. The Adam's wheel and tire cleaner also works very well on the more corrosive dust.

Mine are ceramic coated. That’s just a lot of neglect.
I was thinking more car color. Anthracite and Bronze are great for hiding brake dust.With enough work, not always.

I have noticed the brake dust does not show as bad on the new wheels! Nice added bonus! I did also ceramic coat them so that also helps a bit.
