is there anything in an 18x9, 5x112, 57.1mm cb on the market besides pf05rr?That’s pretty sad about Titan 7 wheels , in todays world you can get forged wheels with required CB and ET’s .
Cheers
Apex is supposed to be close with a new wheel design. I’ve got the 17x9 version.is there anything in an 18x9, 5x112, 57.1mm cb on the market besides pf05rr?
yeah, I would have bought the VS-5RS if they'd followed through with an 18" version. apex is great about providing info, keeps stock in the US, and honors warranty for track use.Apex is supposed to be close with a new wheel design. I’ve got the 17x9 version.
Sounds like the had fitment issues on Humble Mechanic’s Mk8 R, he ended up on 8.5’s.
Neuspeed RSE11Ris there anything in an 18x9, 5x112, 57.1mm cb on the market besides pf05rr?
I know these aren’t for everyone especially with how narrow they are (16x7 +35) but forged by Fuch and relatively inexpensive. I’ll be putting 225/50 tires on it and it allows 312mm brakes. Maybe the 986 calipers may fit under it too.

Was going to run these before I decided to go 17s
These are from an Audi B9 as an optional winter wheel. What B9 it came from, not sure. They fit my 312 without issue. But, not sure if it will work if I go the 986 caliper route.312mm will fit under 16inch rims....so long as the alloy is designed for big brakes and/or the ET is suitable..
VW factory alloys in 17rims are 7inch wide, with 225/45 tyres...so I don't consider them "narrow".
VW 16inch rims are usually 6.5inch wide with 205/55 tyres..
& a Fuch five spoke can't beat it...mind you I like a five spoke...which I have for winters...
....Team Dynamics Pro Race 3, 17x7, = 8.3kgs (18.3lbs) per alloy rim...710kg (1,565lbs) load rating...circa 22kgs (48.5lbs) including Michelin Alpin A5 225/45R17 tyres.
