Lighting package headlight alternatives

My DRL's are no longer working and it appears i need to replace the complete headlight assembly. Too expensive...no thanks. Are there any aftermarket alternatives for those of us with the lighting package lights? Plenty of options for halogen folks but none i can find for xenon/led owners. :-(

I Think Osram makes replacements for LP lights. Don’t quote me on it though. If they do… You’re gonna drop some coin on them. But they’re the best lights on the market

VW offered 3 different BiXenon variants for the ROW MK7s.
1. low: BiXenon, Halogen DRL
2. mid: BiXenon, LED DRL, AFS
3. high: BiXenon, LED DRL, AFS, DLA.
Osram offers a solution for the low variant. Unfortunately the NA LP variant is similar to the ROW mid variant.

With some coding, wiring and AFS module exchange you can downgrade your LP car to the low ROW spec. I‘ve done it to my 17 NA GTI about 3 years ago.

I haven’t tested it yet, but in theory if you don’t care for the auto leveling the low variant works on NA LP cars with just some coding, removing of 2 fuses, and unplugging of the AFS module.
