Recently I found my rear carpets getting damp after heavy rain, lots of condensation and the car was starting to smell too, after some research and looking at other posts on here, seemed to be the rear speaker seals. My Golf is still under extended warranty so I took it back to the dealership, after some investigating they confirmed it to be the speaker seals and replaced them both. Apparently tested and all was fine.
The next morning of getting it back (and after more rain), I opened the car to find water again in the bottom of both rear door seals. Dried it up and did a little test to see, hosed it down and water was indeed filling the rear door seals. So was it not the speaker seals then? The dealership sent me a photo of the broken seal to be replaced, so I'm confused. Any ideas?
