Just bought a 2017 golf tsi

I had a couple of question about my new golf. Like do I need a pro tune to put on a cold air intake and a cat back exhaust system and if so what kind of tuner should I use.

So is mine. Sport mode is great. Normal is like any other slush box (never seem to be in the right gear - pretty much the same as before the tune).

You don't have Sport mode in the 1.8.

He’s talking about the Sport mode of the transmission; as noted, there is no Sport mode for the ECU.

I don't think the 1.8 has Sport mode for the transmission either. It's a torque convertor transmission.

It does, it just changes the shift points.
