My first real custom map 6 pull. Trying to understand what is happening here. Starts out really strong, things look normal?
Been trying to figure out how to make custom adjustments.

Looks like your WMI cut out creating a lean spot, you see it come on and trims fall and then the trims starts rising.

Stock intercooler, I don't believe the WM cuts I can hear it pumping, it causes the engine to sound differently. I'll try pulling a couple more. This might have been on a S bend ramp.

when does JB4 increase boost for a given rpm? Only at WOT or does it start at 50% throttle opening or 10%?
I mean if I set 4 psi extra at 4000 rpm will I get those only at WOT and before that it's like oem boost or will I already get 4 extra PSI at 10% throttle opening.
Or is their some kind of algorithm that will give for exemple 0.5 psi at 20% throttle then 2psI at 50% throttle and finally 4PSI at 100% throttle?

What I mean is it only 2D boost mapping ( RPM/Boost) or is their some calculation that make it 3D ( RPM/boost/% throttle opening)

Its progressive and changes with software updates.

Looks good as long as the corrections after the shift is not always there, and much better AFRs then what 2019s on JB4 usually does.
What corrections? I'm still learning the basics here.

Really? I'm happy with that then. 😎

These timing corrections from the knock sensors.

They are for cylinder 2-4 but you most likely had some in cylinder 1 to but since JB4 only shows positive numbers and ign_1 is also used to show timing advance it will not show up when ignition is not advanced. No biggie as long as other logs are cleaner.

Gotcha. Well, I really only sent him those two logs for this revision. I'll send him more next time, so he has a better picture. I'm dropping the ball here. 😂
