It’s an original unit. They changed the case in later years. I believe that the board from this will fit on the newer case but don’t quote me.

yeah takes longer to download and install the burger software than it does to change maps.

They are all the same regardless of what “group” they come from on the website. George has said that they group them so he can track the demographics of cars they are installed on. This unit was used on a GTI before I bought it and then on a 1.8 Golf.
