Hi Folk, This is my UK spec 2014 Golf GTI "Launch" as some were called (No difference in anyway to normal GTI).
Its a base spec UK model with 6 speed manual, adaptive cruise control and MIB1 infotainment.
I've owned it since 2015 when i sold my 2015 S3 hatch for it.

2015 to 2018 look:

2018 onward

Engine: Revo Carbon series Intakes, Racingline turbo muffler delete, RevJ diverter valve, Sico-Developments boost pipes, Airtec Intercooler, Milltek cat back non resonated exhaust, Revo Technik stage1 software with SPS control module. OE Downpipe and cat.

Driveline: Sachs organic Clutch, OEM performance pack brakes, Vagbremtec disc's with Tarox strada front pads and Racingline RP700 rear pads, Hel braided lines.

Suspension: Racingline Springs & Dampers (being changed out for MT21 Ohlin road sports) , Clubsport S Subframe, Revo Technik Subframe mount(being changed out for Powerflex hybrid mount), Powerflex camber bushes for LCA.

Wheels & tyres: 19x8.5 ET45 Revo Technik alloy, Michelin pilot sport 4S 235-35-19

Exterior: Triple R Composites V2 splitter, OEM Clubsport diffuser, Voomeran spoiler, Carbon wing mirrors, Fully painted by VW Aberdeen in 2021 and ceramic coating by Angel wax.

Interior: P3cars Vent gauge, Leyo control covers, OEM Mib2 Nav upgrade, Hatchbag.com boot liner (for the dog).

So in last few years I changed to Racingline Spring and Damper kit which is softer ride but still firm. However it was too soft for Scottish roads! I have a set of Ohlins to go on just now.

At the same time I got the aluminium subframe fitted. I now have an new one to fit in its place since the Revo mount is to harsh for my liking and i needed an OE puck for the hybrid mount from powerflex.

The car previously made 338bhp and 350lbft with a collapsing R600 filter. Revo Carbon series was fitted in its place so should be back up to the 340bhp and 400lbft that it was at Ecotune previously.
