Yeah, technically I could still bolt
It up but it’s design on the bottom of is designed to house the boot so it’s just don’t work looks wise.

Heres the shifter with the various knobs I’ve tried out, lol.

I’m getting near 40 in my early 20s I had my trans am , and 70 z28 camaro... if my early 20s self could see me now hot rodding a 2.0 car

I like bottom left the most. You figure out a way to monitor oil pressure yet? It’s bothering me this is not an easy task.

Installed my dieselgeek shifter. Broke the cable snap for side to side and broke my transmission lock pin. Lol.

waiting on a new cable snap for the side to side and will adjust without the L lock. I hope nothing bad will happen with the L lock not engaging anymore.

Install success! Shifter feels amazing. Almost too stiff and notchy for such a squishy non race car. Guess I’ll have to upgrade my brakes, sway bars and f*ck it go 30R turbo to compete with the big boys

Golf R Vortex Turbo Std. TLDR: Now that I’ve put a couple thousand miles on this- Spools fully by 3500rpm vs. stock turbo 2900rpm. It feel very comparable to a 20G on a Subaru but has 80whp more on 93 octane (430whp at 31psi). MPG down from 30->27.5. Leave it alone Jeff. Still remains the most versatile daily I’ve owned. /thread
