If the stock front license plate holder hasn't changed much from Mk7 to Mk7.5 bumper plugs will be too small to fit anyway. I have over $50 worth of them in my garage somewhere.

I added some red to the side fins I think it turned out pretty sharp and an easy subtle mod for an hour of my time.

Gotta heat them up a few phases and clear coat the ends so it doesn't peel . It's 28* out and nasty weather so if it lasts for the next week I'll know they're durable

Bob, could you please post a pic of the Seat inserts alloy trim covers fitted please?
Actually, I didn't use them for the seat lever inserts. If you look at the photo I posted above, I used one as a GTI "plaque" on the right side of the dashboard trim. Just an experiment, so we'll see. I've seen pictures of them somewhere online though.

I also have a set of leather, red-stitched, European rear headrests but those are hard to find.
As usual you may be able to find better prices for these if you shop around.

How about the vinyl inlays for the VW logo on the horn? Badgeskins also has tiny vinyl letters for the GTI at the bottom of the wheel. I also like their sun visor warning label delete decals.

I searched for this but wasn't able to find anything. Do you have a link, or maybe I was just using the wrong search nomenclature. Variations of "gti mk7 light switch trim ring" didn't seem to get me anywhere.
Are these the "more subdued" mats you mentioned: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-VW-velours-floor-mats-Golf-7-GTI-5G1061270AHY-front-rear-NEW-/331526768166. A hundred bucks more than the kind you've got, but they do look good. We'll see.
the subdued mats have been called the clubsport and tcr mats in other threads (particularly on golfgti.co.uk). I have a set, they're nice and subtle. The mojos were a bit too much for me.

Alltrack. Wrapped wheel with perforated leather. I think it was $11 on Amazon

Got some lower profile rear headrests on ebay. Think they were from an older Jetta and match perfectly. Moved the rears to the front. Lots easier to see out the rear and the right side on lane changes.I think it cost me about $100

These are both functional as I see better and prefer the thicker wheel but they are also cosmetically more pleasing.

You guys got links to blacked out badge replacements for my 2017 Golf R? VW logo that is, that hopefully matches my gloss black R. Really don't wanna buy a cheap one that will break/peel.

I don't know if its the camera angle not helping or those headrests are way too small but they look like they're made for these guys

I don't know if its the camera angle not helping or those headrests are way too small but they look like they're made for these guys. They certainly still do the job they were designed for and are actually safer due to improved visibility. I sit quite tall and only had to move the drivers up on notch.

Eye of the beholder apparently. The are larger than the Euro sport headrests people pay good money for. They still do the job intended and safer due to better visibility. I sit quite tall and only had to move the driver's up one notch. I think you're just accustomed to the OEM sails. These fit me perfectly.

Added the Golf R vertical fins to my GSW. Fitting this was tricky as you had to place it gently first, push up and down on the top part and adhere. I haven't added any sealant, probably wont bother.

Have had mine on for 2 years now, haven't needed any sealant.

Buy nylon plugs at Home Depot or Lowe's:

If you have to buy them a little bigger than current holes, so be it; you'll then have to drill the bumper to clean up the mess the dealership made and to ensure the new plugs fit well.

Paint the new nylon plugs with touch-up paint to match your car, then paint the plugs with clear.

Costs a FRACTION of what the Bumper Plugs cost.
