Is this my slow leak?

Yep, that will show if it is leaking air from that point. I personally beleive that this is just surface damage. Tyres have multiple layers of rubber and this just doesn't seem deep enough to create a leak... A faulty or loose air valve could be the reason of the leak

I would suggest that if the soapy water doesn't show any leak, go for a drive on a hot day and warm the tyres up. The expansion of the air in the tyres may help to show the leak.
Or soak it and park the tyre on a curb....Be careful with them alloys!

If the tyre gets hot, the rubber expands too. I had a situation 3 summers ago during my vacation. If I left the car for more than a day, it were loosing 0.3 bar. If i were moving, it didn't. I got to a tyre gay when the tyres were hot, he dipped the tyre into a tub with water and everything was normal. I got there again the other day (with cold tyres) and...there it is! We foynd a ultra small hole caused probably by a wire

Finally took the car to get the tyre looked at as it was losing pressure in less than 2 weeks, guy took the wheel off and spotted a small nail near the inner part of the tread, £7 later and it's all fixed, and they didn't scratch the rim .
