Hello everyone, I have a 2016 Golf R and it has starting having a weird intermittent starting issue and thought I would post here to see if anyone else has experienced this.
At first it seemed to only happen when I had a passenger in the front seat, but since doesn't matter. This was probably just a coincidence and me trying to figure out what it was.
Every now and then when I push the engine start button it will just constantly try to turn over and never actually firing off, I can hit the start/stop again and sometimes it will do this again and sometimes it will start.
More recently however it will not even try, when I push start/stop it will try to start once and hit 1k RPMs and then go to 0 RPMs stop and not continue till I push start/stop again. It almost seems like maybe a fuel or spark issue.
Any help you all have would be greatly appreciated.
