That’s a good point I should’ve pointed out that paragraph as it states why the AliEx tracking number isn’t the correct one.

But yeah, confirmed with them prior to ordering that the shipping is included in the total cost. So the original cost includes the shipping. Unless I’m getting duped. Lol

Any large payments through PayPal for items I still use a credit card, as my (and most) CC's offer additional buyer protection.

I guess I'm a little more risk tolerant. I wouldn't sweat it, my money's on the square that says it'll show up.

Never been an issue for me in the past ordering used JDM engines back in the day. Pay the fees, pallet shows up.

someone will be filling out an EPA form, since they're selling it as a CNTA and not one of the ROW motors. presumably this isn't the first motor the seller has shipped to the US.

Why would the VW logo be a problem? Seems like an 'unofficial' engine would cause more trouble with customs

So I confirmed with seller prior to receiving this, they said they had sent out a brochure of all their offerings. Looks like that’s what I received.

Still waiting for an update on the other tracking number. I should have another update later this evening regarding its whereabouts.

For the sake of transparency, I’ll probably inform them that I will be opening a dispute simply as a form of protection on my end. Although their communication has been pretty spot on, you just never know.
