So I want to clean up the sloppy, imprecise feel of my stock 5 speed and it seems like my options are fairly limited. I don’t want to go short throw because I’m ok with the stock throw distance, so that leaves us with upgrades to:
The shift knob
Bracket bushings
shifter cable bushings or adjustable end links
I‘m going to hold off on a shift knob for now, and I’ve read a lot of people say upgrading the bracket bushings offer minimal improvement. So that leaves us with the cable bushings/endlinks.
it looks like the only adjustable end links for the 5 speed are the ECS product. Back in 2018, it looks like the 6 speed version was not impressive, but ECS a was aware of this negative feedback.
