Well, yeah, that was completely my fault trying to adjust Voltage & didn't realize how little you needed to turn it. Worked out in the end AND managed to do it all from the top.

I'm calling shops to see if anyone will put a reasonable number on doing the work - Why would independent shops insist on replacing the whole turbo? Why does VW insist on it? I suspect thats where they're going for info.
I called a tuning shop and they're thinking about problems 2-3 levels past the basic install. Why the hell doesn't Madison, WI have a reasonable tuning shop? Instead we have a Porsche shop thats willing to work on other cars if you're willing to pay Porsche prices. I have two car seats in the back of this thing, you're asking for fund that might be going into a college fund.
