I could feel those terrible triangular bolts damaging the threads when I pulled my plugs for inspection recently. I went looking for a alternatives and found the EQT grounding kit. While very nice, that seems like a lot of money to solve a relatively simple problem. Hat tip to @yakboyslim for his DIY writeup. His solution seemed well thought out, but too much work. So here's my lazy alternative: Replace the bolts with brass M6 x 60mm studs, then stack a couple nuts to make it easier to get a wrench in there to counterhold the top nut. The valve cover threads seem to be in good shape, so the ground path should be solid. Brass was probably overkill, but conducts better than steel and won't corrode. It's also soft, discouraging over-torquing. I might switch to a single nut to hold the coil pack since my 10mm wrench does fit with the ground ring connector in place.
The studs were installed finger-tight to avoid valve cover damage.
