The people who are interested in tuning their own car need features that HPT doesn't have.

I'd lose 150whp with that software.

I'm sure there are some people messing with it, but it'll be very few at this point.

Has anyone used this tuning software to do their own tunes? Is it any good? Looks about 895 with the pro features and 6 credits for my car. Any feedback appreciated

I've got my car licensed and have been tuning it. What are your goals with the car / current mods? As Hoon said there isn't port injection support yet and some datalogging parameters are still missing.

You also don't need pro features unless you want to bring in an external sensor. Cost is 4 credits for the Engine and 4 more if you want to tune the transmission / have a DSG. ~$700 cable and credits

Maybe working MPI on USDM car here in the near-ish future, we'll see... lol. If anyone else is working this, would like to collaborate.

Honestly my biggest hold up right now from proceeding with HPT is the scanner software, still needs a few more logging params. Hopefully they will get that worked soon.
