How to deal with throttle lag / DSG lag on MK7.5 GTI?

Here's what a pedal tuner is doing. Just increases the accelerator voltage output for a given amount of pedal travel. Push less to get more.

Did you set the throttle response to Sport in the infotainment screen? Also Heavy throttle at 2500 rpm in the higher gears will not get you much but a slipping clutch especially if the car is tuned.

There is no sport throttle response setting only a sport mode for some models that changes the steering, shift points (DSG), and ACC behavior (if you have it).
