How flat do the seats fold down?

It's always bugged me how the rear seats in my MK6 GTI don't fold down flat at all. Do the seats in the MK7 R fold down completely flat? Anyone have any pictures?

So are you saying the rear seats in the S and SE are different and fold flatter ?

The only way seats in cars ever fold flat is if the seating surface itself can be moved into a vertical position. These cannot, so they won't go flat. I had a saab where the seats themselves flipped forward against the back of the front seats, and those could be folded down flat.

Yup. the seats have to fold, and the back rest go in it's place.

mercedes has it down but still german lol
