How are the EQT OTS / base Accessport tunes?

Cobb is my favorite tuning solution for sure....just wish it supported end user tuning. Hoping they release accesstuner here eventually.

part 1 - are you responding from your phone?
part 2 - how often are you texting about THOTS and (capitalizing it too), that your phone auto corrected OTS to that? haha!

Lmao im on a PC, THOTS stands for The Honest Off The Shelf (tune).

Not that I have the problem but every time I see Eurodyne abbreviated ED I think erectile dysfunction.
That's reason enough to go with Cobb and EQT.

Just flashed to EQT 93 tune, on first drive saw some -3 and some -4 knock retard average on WOT 3rd and 4th gear pulls. I will see if there is any improvement / adjustment tmrw. I will also see if it continues with new tank of gas. I will research how to datalog. thanks everyone. What are some good parameters to monitor? Ignition timing wise?

How much safer is it to run 91 tune while running 93 gas. Asking in case of bad tank of gas, further knock prevention, etc. I live in NJ btw

Only way to know is to log.

I’m no expert (2020 has proved nobody is) but I’d wager that running higher octane than your tune is safer than the inverse.

I did about 5-6 pulls today and no knock at all - I guess the Tune adapts. I will upload the datalogs tonight.
