Agreed I can’t deal with the FB group. Was cool for a week and then v2 unleashed insanity.

I have the stage 1 OTS map. I need more time with the tune, but the only thing I haven’t gotten used to yet is the throttle sensitivity. Awesome when hooning but have to get used to it going to get milk.

If you're not going full send every moment you get in your car, you're doing something wrong.

-The EQT Facebook Group, probably.

I have stage 2 and that's the first thing I noticed! Throttle sensitivity at 5-10% throttle isn't as linear as it was on the stock map. I can keep my foot at what I think is the exact same throttle position, but the acceleration increases as if I'm pushing the gas further and further. Not drastic, but enough to notice when driving casually. I've had to retrain my foot to let off the gas ever so slightly once 1st gear fully engages in order to avoid the "throttle surge".

FYI, we’ve been working to clean up the FB group and get back to a place where we have more useful info and a good general community. That required kicking a handful of members out recently which has already helped a lot.

Are you on the V2 file? The throttle sensitivity has been made more consistent. But I still get some people who want it to be more sensitive...

Is there an ETA on when v2 will be fixed? The warning e-mail got me to emerge from under my rock to discover v2. The DV change sounds phenomenal (the mid rev bog is real) so I’m itching to upgrade but want to wait until it is completely sorted out.

Goes to show there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Already resolved and updated files are being sent out as of yesterday.

Slightly off topic, is there a word on when there might be merch? I'd love to sport some EQT wear. I use the EQT ECU/TCU and have EQT window stickers (my avatar). I'm also eyeing the EQT coilovers but waiting to see if maybe they go on sale at some point. Either way, I'd wear some EQT gear.

I picked up on this as well, glad to know I'm not the only one. Definitely something I had to take a minute to get used to. I'm coming from MAP's stage 2, and the throttle does take some getting used to. Once you get a feel for it it is noticeably better.

Though I also have big feet and that could make my pedal application a little more sensitive as it is 😉

I think some of you are confusing throttle sensitivity with the fact that in version 2 the DV is staying closed during moderate acceleration so you don't have to apply more throttle to make up for the DV bleeding off boost proir to the update.

I can't speak for anyone else, I was just talking about being in 1st gear, and simply pulling away from my house and barely touching the throttle. That said, I'm coming from a JB 1, straight to stage 1 v2.

That would explain it then.
