hissing, high-pitched noise

That sounds like an electronic beep, doesn't it? How can it be from air leaking?

No idea. It stopped when I tightened the clamps. I’ve seen others not have inlets properly seated and it made the same noise. There’s several of these posts floating around and it’s become pretty regular on the various fb groups.

Here is the sound my car makes. This is actually my car. I can easily get rid of the sound if I remove the IE tip and put the stock back on. I don’t have a video of when I quickly tried the 034 tip but it was identical sound.

hello friends to follow the evolution of my problem
I found the problem
I had a tiny boost leak on the outlet hose ref 5Q0145828
I replaced the hose and the noise disappeared

So prior to replacement were you having performance issues (logs signaled a leak, not meeting target boost, etc) or was it purely a noise?
Edit - I reviewed your responses on page 1. Appears you couldn't trace anything from a performance standpoint or logs that signaled the leak. Did you ever have it tested and/or a smoke test done?
