So I have recently become the owner of a mk 7.5 GTi aswell now

How does the gti compare to the gtd? I bought my 2014 gtd 3 years ago and my second choice would of been a gti but due to mileage and funds at the time I bought the gtd. My car is still is a sound investment for me as it is cheaper to run and because if I had bought a gti by now I would of mapped it. I would of bought a manual so it would of cost me a new clutch. Then I would of regretted not buying a dsg gti then there's the thought of I should of bought a golf R. I'm definitely buying a mk8 golf R now Anyway are you happy with the Gti? It looks sweet

It’s a great car, both cars are manual, obv costs abit more to run the gti but not by a great deal, it’s a totally different car to the gtd to drive, I need to get the gti on a dyno as I do feel like it’s possibly been mapped previously, if not it will get mapped at somepoint, I did look at golf r’s but decided I prefer the gti for looks and of course the heritage of the badge
