Hey all- first post here:
while I was test fitting my new wheels today, I noticed that my rear lower control arm on the drivers side seems bent at the bolt where it connects to the chassis. It sits at a slight angle instead of exactly perpendicular to the bolt like it’s been bent. I’m trying to figure out if it’s sitting weird or might be cause for concern. I have been experiencing a vibration both in the seat and in the steering wheel when I hit certain speeds (~40mph, 60-90mph range) for a while as well and am wondering if they might be related.
Hopefully those that might be more versed in the rear suspension of our Mk7s than myself can shed some light on if it looks abnormal or not. I just received some coilovers and plan on putting them in very soon, but want to make sure I don’t need to replace a control arm before I do. Thanks!
