I'm hoping someone had some advice on the right way to bleed my clutch?
Mk7 Golf 2.0tdi CRBC, O2Q gearbox I believe.
So long story...my osr caliper stuck on, fault with the epb. Car recovered to my work car park, caliper hammered off but in my error the clamp I used on the brake hose was not sufficient so lost a bit of fluid. Got it clamped and pressure back to normal on brakes but clutch pedal just goes straight to the floor.
I've got a Sealey pressure bleeder as I suspect that air has got into the system, but I'm a bit confused on how the bleed nipple works on the slave cylinder. Do you turn the actual yellow plastic piece? Is there some sort of lock? (pic below)
Also how much fluid do you think I'll require, I've only got a 500ml bottle at the moment.
I was hoping to be able to get it started and move it into our workshop to work on.
Thanks for any info or advice cheers.
Edit. Also what pressure do you need on the bleeder?
