It's ok to have a short intro but try to keep it under 30 seconds. After that, just get straight to the point of what your video is about. People tend to have a short attention span, somewhere between 3 - 5 minutes, so the faster you can get all pertinent info on there, the better. Prior to making your video, write down a list of all your talking points so you can use that as a guide.
