Has anyone retrofitted their headlights?

More so talking about switching out the factory projector for a aftermarket one? I got a 2020 SE and even though the lighting isnt bad I know it could be a lot better. Just curious if anyone has modified their lights?

I have replaced my D3S HID for a 6000k LED D3S bulb and it is a vast improvement, road signs and white lines are much brighter, not that the original Xenon's were bad but they are the original 2014 ones so thought I would change them.

I did the same. This route is the easiest way to get better lighting with no fuss. Other options are :
1. Get Osram Led driving headlights. Expsnive and coding needed for AFS equipped cars.
2. Replace/Upgrade Projector. Headlight must be opended and sealed correctly (Not a trivial task). Your should also replace your headlight lens cover as well.
3. Use Aftermarket /China 7.5 headlights. A positive experience is not guaranteed.

hi, I replaced my halogen headlights with Osram LEDdriving headlights. They are excellent and plug and play, great price. I recommend them to you

As @Lori87Mi stated above, if you have halogen lights, go with the OSRAM LEDriving Lights.

Do you by chance know what company makes the OEM vw headlights? Or at least the projectors?

Ive done it on mk5s and mk6 gtis. Its a pain in the ass. Mixed results too. Sure rhe 7 is no easier
