Hardwiring dashcam - Viofo A129

Looking to get some help with my dashcam hardwiring, more specifically Viofo A129 Duo.

I was following this diagram

for the ACC and BAT fuses and it is not working out for me. Anybody have any suggestion? This camera has a front and rear with parking recording.

It seems like the ACC portion is not working as power goes to the dash cam, the camera just doesn’t turn back on (or doesn’t switch from parking to driving mode) automatically with the car. I have to unplug the camera and plug it back in when turning the car on.

I have this exact same camera and wiring kit in my wife’s CX-5 without a single problem. It records 3fps Timelapse parking 24/7, and auto switches to drive mode when starting the car.

After work today I will swap the cameras in our cars to see if that’s the issue, but I doubt it.

What hardware did you use to add them to the fuse panel? A simple add a fuse? If so, which leg is going to the live plate and which holder is your fuse in?

This guy on the video used the 10amp to hardwire his camera. Hope this helps.

Did you test each circuit with a meter? BAT should be 12V all the time. ACC should switch on with the key/start button.
