Hard wiring Radar detector

Hi I have a 2017 golf gti autobahn and I need someone to explain to me how to take that little plastic thingy behind the mirror off can someone please explain to me how to take it off or send me a link to a forum that explains how to hard wire in a radar detector or remove a rear view mirror

The one with the rain sensor

That one has a rain sensor.

Have you pulled it apart to look at the plug? Probably pretty similar concept.

Yea I did take it apart it’s different but me and a few friends figured it out somehow only thing that broke was the little plastic cover but it’s not noticeable
