Is it better to wait for the springs to settle before doing the recal?

Depends on if you're doing the cal yourself versus taking it back to a shop for lift access. After settling would be better, but doing it after install is the most important.

Depending on the springs you could be talking 1"+ difference from stock. Where the difference after settling would, I expect be less than half that.

H&R OE Sport springs so about an inch yea. Thanks for the response
